Kidney and Bladder Detox
Our
kidneys filter out toxins, drugs and waste products that are
harmful to the blood. The toxins, waste products and excess
water become urine that flows down into the bladder. The bladder
acts as storage of urine until the time that it is ready to
be excreted out of the body. Over time, the kidneys may become
diseased if they are overloaded with toxins or they may get
clogged because of excess fat caused by years and years of
high fat diet. It is important to always ensure that our kidneys
are functioning at an optimal level and we can ensure this
by detoxifying or cleansing the kidneys from time to time.
Kidney
tapping
This
is done by making a loose fist with your hand and gently tapping
the kidney area. This mechanical action will help stimulate
the kidney to perform better.
Ginger
Compress
To
make a ginger compress you need warm water in a pot. Grate
some ginger roots into the warm water and allow the ginger
juice to be absorbed by the warm water for at least 15 minutes.
Get some thick washcloth or towel and dip them into the ginger
solution then wring out the excess solution. Apply the towel
at the back near the kidney area for 5-10 minutes then reapply
the compress for a total 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
Watermelon
Kidney
detox is as simple as taking lots and lots of fluids. You
can detoxify your kidneys by eating lots and lots of watermelon
which helps flush out toxins and waste materials from the
body every time you urinate.
